A friend is interested in buying a 2009-2010 Audi A6 3.0T, but asked me to look into any problems the models has. So help me out here by letting me know if you have any experience with these cars. For those who don't, feel free to mention any information on problems that these models are apt to have. If this guy buys the car I get to drive it, so for god's sake help me people!
Edit: I'm seeing issues with the water pump and xenon headlamps, anything else?

Google Danielson Tanibonné Audi Blog . His shop has owned 3 or 4 2009–2011 A6es with the 3.0T, buying them off of customers who are looking to move onto something else, working on them (to flip for profit), etc. – but has detailed all his findings about the mechanical issues these cars face.

LED rears like to fail every now and then.
Engine needs carbon cleaning.
God help you if MMI breaks.

Thanks for the info! I'm sure an MMI failure would wreck his kid's college fund.

You can upgrade MMI for around 2.5k to the modern one and be less concerned.
If you can get a CPO copy, even better. At least your major areas will be covered.
The transmission is foolproof more or less.

Doug has taught us the wonders of CarMax luxury car ownership. I'll make sure he keeps an open mind.

My dad has a 07 3.2. Never had a xenon problem, no bulb went out in over 3 years (on my GTI bulbs are around $250 lol) and MMI never failed. I wouldn't be worried with a more recent MMI, never heard of any failure. All around, the car has been really reliable. The interior is very nice at night, and the car is so comfortable on the highway. Go for it
